Then, the book shifted into a mcleroy of age story that took up the majority of the novel. I like how the chapters were broken down into either an event, a person, or a set subject and afmily focused on that part of Lena’s life. There is supposed to be a sequel to Ugly Ways called Taking After Mudear, but I’ve not been able to find it in any bookstore or library so far.
