Everything the author has covered in this book is backed up by other researchers’s findings. But one doesn’t have to look further than the news to identify the world events that have transpired since book’s publication. An essential book to understand the broad agenda of this nefarious group.

It’s just that I don’t buy the explanations our leaders give us for the stupid shit they do. At least these whacked-out theories make sense to me on some level. This book is a real must-read! Aug 20, John rated it did not like it Shelves: This was a total waste of time. It was wacky, but not wacky enough to be entertaining. And the Rockefellers run them. This guy also needs to do some fact checking, because I’m pretty sure the Pentavirate runs the world. Nov 27, Kim Taras rated it really liked it. Disturbing to say the least. I’m not even going to get into it because people think it is crazy. No one wants to believe it because it is scary. This is a good book on the topic if people want to actually know what goes on other than Lindsay Lohan going to jail or cats doing cute things.
Dec 26, Vannessa Anderson rated it it was amazing Shelves: Before you enter the voting booth, it is essential that you read The True Story of the Bilderberg Group aka The New World Order but, I must caution you not to become disillusioned and not vote. Being an independent student of politics, I have read many books on the subject and have learned a great deal.
I believe the best way to review The True Story of the Bilderberg Group is to let the book speak for itself. The Council on Foreign Relations does that. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government.
The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bakers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries. Furthermore, Smith Barney is interlocked with Citigroup Inc. Socialism puts power in the hands of the government. And since the Rockefellers control the government, government control means Rockefeller control. There appear to have been no prosecutions under the Act in its almost year history.
I started this book and put it down a few times before I finally finished it. Daniel Estulin is a Russian who lives in Spain. He’s excellent to listen to in a radio interview, but his writing can feel a bit “all over the place” to me. Still, the content of this book is important enough to warrant perseverance. There are several non-governmental organizations – the “round table” groups, the Club of Rome, the G20, the European Union, The Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg, the World Bank and I started this book and put it down a few times before I finally finished it.
There are several non-governmental organizations – the “round table” groups, the Club of Rome, the G20, the European Union, The Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg, the World Bank and IMF, and The Trilateral Commission – just to name a few – who meet to discuss policy regarding issues that are of interest on an international or a transnational level.
It is the stated mission of such groups to strategically create impacts on world economy, law, politics, and society. Yet, NONE of these organizations consist of members chosen by democratic or republican processes within the respective sovereign nation states from which they hail. We like to believe our nation is sovereign – that our constitutional republic is still intact, and that groups that encourage international cooperation exist to increase freedom and rights for citizens around the world.
However, the evidence for this pollyanna view of globalization just isn’t there. As the influence of international bodies and the unelected groups that influence them grows, the sovereignty of nations necessarily diminishes. We see this whenever a change in World Bank policy influences laws in the United States, or when a collapse of one nation due to debt obligations becomes a global collapse, due to the bonds of treaties like Maastricht – which we see, are stronger than the decisions best for a nation like financially-stricken Greece.
It is against United States law for serving officials of the government to participate in policy making with non-elected officials. Yet, in direct violation of this law, many government workers and elected officials attend Bilderberg, year in and year out. These discussions are never made public, and the meetings themselves are rarely reported on.
Members of the press who attempt to discover what attendees are discussing are turned away by armed guards. Some are even followed and arrested.
