While it touches on many of the same subjects as Kitchen – the main character is a young woman whose adored boyfriend has been killed in a car accident, so grief and love are again the main themes – somehow, despite the fact that it’s so much shorter, the characters here feel far more real, yoshimkto ultimately it’s a truly moving tale.
